In 1968 he joined the army. Served in the military band - the Nahal (Lahakat Hanahal). Played the guitarand sang. In the band he met Alon Oleartchik, Gidi Gov, Danny Sanderson and Meir (Poogy) Fenigstein. In 1973 he joined 'Kaveret'. The band was signed by Aberaham Deshe (Pashanel).
