ego; is a Bogotá/Toronto based band formed in 2007, consisting of Andrés Gualdrón and Juan Pablo Bermúdez. Their sound mixes elements from psychedelic pop, contemporary experimental music, electronica and punk. The band started as a trio with Andrés on the drums, but then decided to go for a drumless format, which prompted them to rearrange their songs in electronic versions in which they explored the rhythmic possibilities of concrete, everyday sounds.
