Saxophonist/composer Eirik Hegdal has been one of the major forces of the new wave of new exiting jazz musicians coming out of Norway for the past 10 years. He is also currently composing for the new group Brat witch he co-leads with tenorplayer Kjetil Møster. Brat recently released their debut album on the Swedish label Moserobie. Eirik Hegdal has also been leading his group Dingobats who released an album on Jazzaway Records in 2004.
