Elad Love Affair formed in the year 2000 in Buffalo, New York. The group self released a few limited CD-Rs before signing to Immigrant Sun Records and releasing a 6 song EP in June of 2003 entitled "a woman gives birth to a gun and it stabs her." Elad blended dissonant harmonies, angular guitar work, and dark and haunting lyrics to form a unique sound with roots in the post punk and post hardcore genres.
