Eliot Wilder, author of “DJ Shadow … Endtroducing,” part of the 33 1/3 book series, is releasing his fourth album, “Westphalia,” on WildWest Records on April 13. For this album, Eliot provides all the instrumentation for a set of very personal songs about love and addiction. The tunes were written during the first three months of 2009 with the assistance of outside traffic noise, the hum of the washing machine and a few squeals from his daughter, Astrid.
