Empire Machines is a 4 piece Indie Rock outfit that began in Austin, Texas in late 2009. Band members Matt Blackwell (lead vocals, guitar) and Trey McKinley (bass, backing vocals) met in 2004 in their hometown of Houston, Texas, during their first year of high school and have been playing in bands since.
