english bore is an ambient / shoegaze / electronic project from john amino (amino people / fence collective). based upon a love of a soothing drone and an ethereal guitar sound, and working around themes of repetition and melody hidden within sheets of distortion, it attempts to create lo-fi recordings for late night listening in poorly lit rooms. a soundtrack to those hours when you accidentally drank too much night-nurse.
