The English Guitar Quartet was formed in 1978 and has performed with its current lineup of Roland Gallery, Tom Dupre, Andrew Marlow, and Tim Pells since 1987. All members of the group met while students at the Royal Academy of Music in London in the early 80's, and came together for their first international tour to Australia in 1988. In addition to performing all over the UK, they have toured in Canada and Israel.
