Born 17 March 1934 is a free-lance composer based in Berlin, Germany. He has taught at the Berlin Conservatory of Music, been resident at the German Academy in Rome and at the International Summer Course in New Music at Darmstadt, and served as artistic director of the concert series Insel Musik in Berlin.
