22 year old laptop musician "Eric Chiptune" uses Ableton Live 6.0.7 plus multiple VSTi's to create an emulated chiptune sound. He started out in the summer of 2006 just for a laugh, but when myspace started to pay a bit more attention he started to make a few more tracks. Using drum samples from LSDJ and the C64 he creates chiptune sounding tracks often with strings and pianos infused.
