Eso-Charis was a Christian metal band formed in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Founding members Cory Putman, Matthew Putman, and Arthur Green eventually went on to join the band Living Sacrifice. Eso-Charis was originally called "Elliot". After about two years of playing shows, the band changed their name because of other bands using the name Elliot.
