Espasmo is a hard rock band formed in Santiago, Chile in 2008. The original members are Juan Carlos (lead guitars), Fernando Pantoja (drums), Hernan Rodrigo Lagos (bass), and Mariano Latorre (vocals and guitars). Juan Carlos left the band, as the band worked on their first record. On October 2008, due personal issues, Fernando leaves and the band begin a hiatus until February of 2009 when Juan Pablo López (a.k.a. Juampi, former Cimento and Mañanatepago) joins on drums.
