Evan MacDonald (a.k.a. Evan Enlow) was raised in Tacoma, Washington, where in 2005 he wrote and recorded If and When under the name "Enlow," hoping to join forces with other artist to create a band by the same name. After playing solo for about a year, Evan decided to keep it that way and took on the solo pseudo name, Evan Enlow. Under this name, he released The Birdwatcher EP in August 2006.
