Nicola "Faso" Fasani was born in Milan, Italy on April 7, 1965. Since 1985 he plays 6-string bass for Italian rock band Elio e le Storie Tese. Alongside drummer Christian Meyer, he's also a founder member of jazz-rock outfits Trio Bobo and Biba Band (both directly indebted to Weather Report).
