Fayola a jazzy, neo-soul singer was born and raised in Trinidad, West Indies. She began discovering her singing talents at the young age of 7. She played in her school traditional steelband and after migrating to the U.S. joined the Imani Singers, the honors choir of Medgar Evers College.
