FENCE OF DEFENSE was formed in 1985 and began performing publicly in 1987.
The band consists of three people: Masatoshi Nishimura (vocals, bass, keyboards), Wataru Yamada (drums), and Kenji Kitajima (guitar). Each had previously worked separately as session musicians.
