Finniston started life in 2004 as a brother sister duo playing in tiny cafes and pubs all over Scotland. They released their debut EP 'Popular Music that will live forever' on their own label Ruby Records in 2005 and shortly afterwards added to their sound with the arrival of Jamie Attridge on drums and Andrew Gifford on double bass.
