First Mode is an alternative moniker used by an NYC artist more commonly known as The She-Devil, as well as its Spanish variant LaDiabla. Ersatz Audio released her debut self-titled First Mode EP in 1995 and went on to contribute a track to the label's follow-up compilation Omniolio which also featured Detroit notables Lesseninglesson, Platex and label founder Adam L.
