Flibbertigibbet was formed in the 70's in South Africa. It consisted of Dave and Assie Williams (now O'Donnell) formerly of the Irish folk rock band Mellow Candle and Joanna Dudding (now Glenn) and Barrie Glenn. They played mainly traditional British Folk music with some original material. They released an LP on vinyl in South Africa (Whistling Jigs to the moon) which was later re-released on CD in England.
