Flying Mango Attack was a band that consisted of Anno Birkin, Billy Scherer, Lee Citron and Christian Smith. It existed from the summer of 1999 to spring 2000, when Christian had to leave and the band decided to disband. Lee was booted shortly after because of his heroin addiction and Anno and Billy spent the summer recording together, before re-grouping with Lee (who had cleaned up for the time being) and bringing in Alberto to form Kicks Joy Darkness in the Autumn of 2000.
