Footsweep is an indie rock band from The Hague, The Netherlands, formed in 1999 by guitarists Jean Midde and Bas van der Ham. In 2002 drummer Gilbert Twilt and in 2004 bassplayer Bart van Geyt joined the band. A serious accident in 2005 meant that Bas van der Ham could no longer play in the band, so Footsweep continued as a trio focusing more on an international audience.
