Newcastle based rockband Forgodsake came to life in the early 90ies when The Shotgun Brides members Steve Wallace (guitar), Drew Gallon (bass) and Gary Binns (drums) formed a "new version" of their band with singer Kevin Ridley (ex-The Screen Idols) and guitarist Chris McCormack (ex-Gunslinger, brother of The Wildhearts bassist Danny McCormack).
