The Four Flats won the Northwest Barbershop Ballad Contest two consecutive years. They turned down offers for full-time entertainment careers, choosing to put their talents into church work. Renamed the “World Vision Quartet,” members sang around the world, performing before millions in person and heard weekly on a national broadcast on ABC radio.
