From the Pawn was born on a rainy summer day of 2003 when members from several different Long Island bands wanted to create a specific sound from a mixture of their favorite musical influences. The original lineup was Dom D'Acunto (vocals), Keiji Shibata (guitar), Joseph Fusco (guitar), Anthony DiCocco (bass), Joey Cestone (drums).
