Gândul Mâţei is a Moldavian alternative band with an unique sound that mixes melodic rock, punk, hardcore, blues and... a trumpet as lead instrument. They sing in Romanian, but also in Russian. Back in 1996, they had their first gig in Chisinau, Moldova. Since then, they released 2 albums in Romanian ("Cu gandul la ea" in 2000 and "Ghem in ghem" in 2005) and 2 albums in Russian ("Ла Чокана" in 2003 and "Комета" in 2007).
