There are two bands named Gévaudan 1, Gévaudan hailed from Ottawa, Canada. Was formed in early 2007 by founder Paul Champagne. In June 2007 Gévaudan successfully released an independent, full length CD entitled The Arrogant Chronicles – A Requiem for the Dead, a Deity for the Living. The album exudes unbridled aggression, harshness and an innate beauty in its hateful nature.
