Garlic Brown, aka Knoffel Bruin aka Judah, is one of the most accomplished emcees in South Africa. First rising to prominence as a member of Brasse Vannie Kaap, the group became one of the most successful acts in the country, eventually touring Europe. After the group's dissolution, Garlic Brown frequently collaborated with fellow Cape Flats emcees Isaac Mutant and Scallywag, who together feature on Die Antwoord's 2009 debut, '$O$'.
