Blues guitarist Gary D. Ward has been playing music since the early 70s, performing throughout South Texas and in Houston. He played with Freddy Fender in 74/75. He also played with Howard McLaughlin, Cid Sanchez and Chris Layton during that time. In Corpus Christi he spent a long time playing with Alex Bayarena and Rick Montez.
