Gentle Assassins are a five-piece from Newtown, Sydney, comprising of Rob McKiernan (guitars), Ian Towart (vocals), James 'Void' Lacey (bass), Andrew Lay (drums), and Iain Jepsen (keys). Rob and Ian used to be the creative core of Porcelain Bus many years ago. Andrew Lay has drummed for Golden Rough and Jason Walker.
