Gentleman Surfer began as the solo project of drummer Jon Bafus (Afternoon Brother, Sholi) in 2006, and has since grown into a fully living, breathing band which includes Barry McDaniel Swars (Practice, Highq, Timeless Phase, Tubetungs), and Drew Walker (Black Holes, What?, Doofy Doo, Happy Medium).
