George Palmer Macias is a singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas. He was born in Houston, Texas and has been performing in the Austin area since the early 1980s and was a Kerrville Newfolk finalist in 1989. He quit his day job in 2008 to pursue music full time and to launch an internet jukebox called www.texisscafe.com. His debut CD, Firefly, was internationally released in July, 2009.
