Gerhard Rühm's lyrics & chords

Rühm studied piano and composition at the University of Music and Dramatic Arts in Vienna. Since the early '50s he produced sound poems, spoken texts, visual poetry, photo montage and book objects. He is co-founder of the Vienna group (with Friedrich Achleitner, Hans Carl Artmann, Konrad Bayer and Oswald Wiener). Inspiration for his art are August Stramm, Kurt Schwitters, Gertrude Stein, Carl Einstein and Paul Scheerbart.
