GG Allin's first years as a frontman were with New Hampshire band The Jabbers from 1977 – April 1983. The Jabbers recorded a number of tracks for which Allin sometimes played drums and performed vocals, heavily influenced by The Stooges, The Dictators, The Dead Boys, first-album NY Dolls, the Heartbreakers, UK power pop, and '70s glam.
