The Gibson Girls were formed after the demise of early-mid 80's New York-based punk/hardcore bands Chappaquiddick +5 and Borscht. Together from 1988-1990, they never released any records at the time. They performed with other New York bands such as Sylvain Sylvain & Johnny Thunders, Springhouse, the Senders, Da Willys, Paleface, and many more, at venues like CBGB, the Pyramid, the Continental, and the Space At Chase.
