Gil Scott-Heron and Jamie xx is a collaboration between Scott-Heron & London producer Jamie Smith (aka Jamie xx). Scott-Heron had released "I'm New Here" (8 Feb '10, XL), his first album in thirteen years. While Jamie was fresh from touring his début album, The xx's "xx" (17 Aug '09, Young Turks).
