Glaswald was founded at Shrovetide 2004 by Martin Pohl (synths) and Wolfgang Kirchheim (guitar) in Basel. Begun as a psychedelic ambient adventure the sound of the band has evolved with Siegmund Køb on the bass and the use of electronically or acoustically generated beats, now including aspects of techno and space rock.
