The band formed under the name Glu Gun in 1991 in Los Angeles, California; just two years after Bob Oedy's project The Grim broke up in 1989. They started performing concerts in local venues in 1992-1993 and soon signed to Mike Ness (of Social Distortion)'s label Posh Boy Records then released their first album Just Glü It in early spring 1994.
