Gore Melian was born on 26th of April, 1987 in Yerevan - Armenia. He grew up in a musical family and since the age of three he has been singing and performing on stages. In 1993 he started violin lessons in the music school of Dunayevsky in Moscow and also became the soloist in the school's choir. In 1997 he won the 1st Prize in the Pan Cyprian Song Competition "Kataklysmos". Furthermore, again in 2000 he won the 2nd prize in the same competition.
