Gray Goods is Ryan Brown, Austin Davila, and Trevor McGloughlin. The band began with Brown and Davila sketching out song ideas after the break up of Brooklyn three-piece Browns. They enlisted McGloughlin, a longtime friend of Brown’s from San Diego and brother of Soft Pack guitarist Matt McGloughlin, to play drums on three songs recorded over the summer of 2009 to be released as part of 1928 Recordings’ Golden Hour Box Set in December of that year.
