Great American Cities was born in 2010 when San Francisco transplants Josh Creel and Blaine Vossler joined forces – and varied influences – to create a new sound balanced precariously between pop, electronic, and rock genres. (Think Paul Simon meets Lady Gaga) In 2011, the duo enlisted the help of drummer Adam Willis (Swoop Unit) and bassist Ian Montgomery (Celeste Lear Band) to create an energetic and engaging live sound.
