The german band Grook consists of Benedikt Meyer (Bass), Alexander Schillack (Drums), Florian Lau (Guitar, Background Vocals, Keyboard) and Kim Zakrzewski (Vocals, Guitar, Keyboard). They founded the band in July 2008 in the city of Gelsenkirchen in Western Germany. Their biggest influences are coming from gerne of Indie, which is writ large in a common bassline and funky guitars.
