Groovy Chickadee was formed in 1991. by two friends Olja Miletić and Janja Bobić, who used to write for music magazine called Rhytm. At that time two of them were listening to various kinds of music, but they formed a band infuenced by Hüsker Dü, Lemonheads, Descendents, Misfits. Band had a few rehersals with Kosta (guitarist of famous Croatian band Studeni Studeni) on drums and Srđa (Cockroaches, Overdose) on guitar.
