In August of 1995 Guus Meeuwis and his group ("Vagant") release their first single "Het is een nacht" (It is a night). It was a song that he wrote himself. The song became the summerhit of that year and was in the Dutch charts for 37 weeks! Whereas everyone thought they'd be a one-hit wonder, their debut album "Verbazing" (Amazement) enters the charts on number 1.
