Guv is Matt Atwood, Adam Cissell, Bryan Ploutz, and Jeff Zupka. Shortly before the band formed in late 2003, Adam Cissell recorded "Papercut" and released it as Guv's first album. After forming in 2003 and screwing off for a year, they decided to record an album. That began in late 2004.
