Gypsy Guerrilla Band is centered around the core of a husband and wife duo, Jim and Joyce Lillquist. Other members have come and gone, contributing variously to live and recorded music, but Jim & Joyce have remained the only constant. Jim built his first hammered dulcimer in 1979 and began playing music with Bill Rintz and the Allen Street String Band in Springfield, Illinois.
