Haikara was a Finnish progressive rock band, formed in 1971. The band's original sound has been compared to bands such as King Crimson and Van der Graaf Generator and to some extent Tasavallan Presidentti. Haikara's first album, Haikara, came out in 1972, and it has since became a classic progressive rock album.
