Harvey Reid (born in 1954 in California) is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who recorded his first album in 1982. Currently living in Maine, Reid won the 1981 National Fingerpicking Guitar Competition and the 1982 International Autoharp competition. In 1996, Acoustic Guitar magazine listed Harvey's album Steel Drivin' Man as one of the top ten essential folk albums/CDs of all time.
