Heart Shaped Rock was founded by Portland rocker Sheridan Giordano, powerhouse former front-woman of Tribal Iris. The band began in 2005 as a mostly female melodic hard-rock quartet well received by the local music press. During the first months of its existence HSR struggled to find its identity.
