Heather Green is a transplanted emerging artist in Halifax, Nova Scotia, originally from California. Since the release of her first EP One Year Happy in January 2009, she has maintained a local presence wherever she resides. In 2008, Heather was spotted by Engineer/Producer Michael Bizar at Room 5, a popular Los Angeles listening venue, who offered to help begin recording her material.
