Hegedős is a Hungarian folk band, born in 1983. Their name (="Violinist") is came from Medieval Hungarian, and they try to follow Béla Bartók's work to find the ancient roots of Hunagrain folk music. On their shows, they use a lot of ancient instruments (such as ), and they also performing music from the neighboring folks (Slavish and Romanian music). They often come up at dance celebratons.
